3 Months – 18 Months

The baby unit is divided into two rooms, Willows & Cherries. These rooms run parallel to one another, but very closely. The staff work on a 1:3 ratio with the children. There is a separate milk kitchen, food preparation kitchen, nappy rooms, sleep rooms and access to a purpose built balcony so the children can enjoy the outdoors.

18 Months – 3 Years

We have 3 rooms in our 18 months to 3 years, Maples, Oaks & Conkers. The Maples room is for children aged 18 months to 2 years and the staff work on a 1:3 ratio. The Oaks & Conkers room are both for children aged 2-3 years old and they work on a 1:4 ratio. All rooms in this unit work very closely together. This unit has direct access to 2 gardens, an outdoor covered area, a conservatory, nappy changing rooms, toileting facilities, area’s where the children can sleep undisturbed.

3 – 5 Years

We have 2 pre-school rooms, Palms & Acorns. The staff work on a 1:8 ratio with the children. Each room is well equipped with different areas of learning,  they have access to an outdoor classroom and a large garden area, with areas for mark making, messy play, large climbing equipment and play house.

3-4 Year Old Government Funding.

All children are entitled to 15 hours per week term time only 3 and 4 year old government funding. This funding is available the first term after their third birthday e.g. If a child turns 3 on the 15th September they will be entitled to their funding in the January following their birthday.

We offer the funding in 3 hour blocks morning and afternoon. Our session times are 8.30-11.30 and 12.30-3.30. Funding does not include and meals or snacks. However we can offer wrap around care between the hours of 7.30-6.30pm, please contact the nursery for your individual needs.

Out of school care

We offer care to children age  4 to 14 years in our Silver Birch room. The Silver Birch room is well equipped with a large lounge area that hosts a flat screen t.v., a Wii console, air hockey table, reading corner and lots of board games. They have a further 2 rooms in which they dine, do creative activities, and get dramatic in the role play area.  They have table tennis, table football and lots of small world toys. We have an amazing paddock and woodland area that they have access too.

Holiday Club is open in line with the Swindon Borough Council schools holiday calendar, on a daily basis from 7.30-6.30. Monday to Friday ( We are closed bank holidays and the 3 days between Christmas & New Year)

After-school pick up

We are able to collect children from Wanborough, Covingham, Nythe & Grange Primary schools

The children are collected from school, they come back to a hot meal and care is provided until 6.30pm.
